Effect of ‘traditional’ DBP training on pediatric residents

Official Research Title: Effect of ‘traditional’ DBP training on pediatric residents: Short- and medium-term outcomes

Principal Investigators: Lynne Huffman, MD

Study Description: This medical education research study used a quasi-experimental design assessing nine cohorts of Stanford pediatric resident learners (total n= 212) at three time points post-DBP resident rotation. We evaluated the effect of a traditional DBP rotation on immediate and sustained resident knowledge of DBP conditions (measured by Pediatrics In-service Training Exam results).
